The information provided here summarizes retention, medical school acceptance and graduation rates for student cohorts for the indicated years.  The Associate of Science in Health Sciences Program of the American International College of Arts and Sciences – Antigua (AICASA) prepares students to enter medical school, specifically the American University of Antigua with which AICASA has an articulation agreement. Students also have the option of seeking additional education in other health professions fields.

REPORTING YEAR 2012 (JULY 2011-JUNE 2012)

Medical School acceptance rate of graduates from the A.S. in Health Sciences Program: 100%.

Note: Medical School acceptance rate is defined as the proportion of graduates who are accepted to medical school within eight months of graduation. This metric is used in lieu of Placement Rate.

Retention rate within the College for students enrolled in the A.S. in Health

Sciences Program:  91.4%.

Graduation rate:  71.7%

Medical School Acceptance rate of graduates from the A.S. in Health Sciences Program:  90%.
