aCADEMIC PREP COURSE (APC)

The Academic Prep Course (APC) is an intensive pre-medical program that prepares students with a BS/BA degree for medical school. The entire program lasts one semester and covers three courses: Human Anatomy and Physiology, Molecular Cell Biology and Medical Terminology. In addition, students will take an Education Enhancement Department (EED) class from AUA, that will teach valuable study skills such as note taking, listening in a classroom setting, and time management. They will also get the opportunity to sit in on a few first semester AUA classes including BLS and a few small group sessions.

Everyone who passes this program will get automatic acceptance into American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine. Once admitted to AUA, qualified students may apply for federal student loans.
